Her interviews include writer John Grisham, musician Katy Perry and actors such as David Arquette, Lucy Lawless, Rosie O’Donnell and Seth Rogen. Traci writes pitches to publicists, managers and digital marketing and music industry professionals to gain additional interview opportunities and forge new relationships. She regularly receives invitations to press calls with television networks such as NBC, FOX and CBS.
Traci majored in English at the University of Michigan and graduated with highest distinction in the top 3 percent of her class in 2010. She received the William J. Branstrom Freshman Prize and University honors. She was a James B. Angell Scholar and won the Erica Mitchell Scholarship for excellence in writing in 2010.
At the University of Michigan, she worked as a research assistant for the Ross School of Business where she edited academic papers for multiple professors. She is the co-author of a paper published in the Journal of Management Education.
She has worked for multiple not-for-profit organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan, the University of Michigan’s Matthaei Botanical Gardens and the Autism Alliance of Michigan. At the Autism Alliance of Michigan she wrote website content, took board meeting minutes and helped create an online directory of autism-related resources. As an intern in the Wish Granting department of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, she wrote letters to families to update them on the status of wishes, and created newsletters describing children’s wish experiences to inspire social workers to make more wish referrals.
In her spare time she writes short stories, poetry and novels, and she is a former division 6 Scrabble tournament winner.
