Gwen Vryhof

Gwen acts as a managing partner within Bultema Lambert Communications, focusing her efforts on marketing strategy and execution, as well as the design, development, and implementation of various communications tools. She regularly works with product manufacturers, service-oriented businesses, cause-driven associations, and non-profits. Gwen holds her Master of Science in Communications degree from Northwestern University (Evanston Campus) and a bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from Calvin College, a small liberal arts college based in Grand Rapids, Mich. After hours, if she’s not running with (read: being pulled by) her 1.5 year old pup, River, Gwen can usually be found immersed in books that are real, honest, and concerned with the human heart (or books that are crazy, passionate, and laugh-out-loud funny). She spends a significant amount of time in and around Lake Michigan – enjoying her husband and her family, being in community and connectedness, controlling her wanderlust, and seeking great joy. Gwen is passionate about several organizations within her community and works to encourage and support young women entrepreneurs interested in pursuing careers in business. She serves on the board of the American Red Cross of West Michigan and is actively involved in the Calvin Young Women’s Business Institute, a three-day program in Grand Rapids that exposes high school-aged women to business-related courses of study. Gwen believes the written word has power to influence, move, shape, and impact a person, many persons, and the world. She is grateful to have a job that allows her to do one of the things she loves most in the world: write.
