Debra Gold, Gold & Company provides strategic marketing, branding communications, social media management, trend reports and public relations services for manufacturers and retailers. Gold & Company is an industry-specific agency specializing in the fine gift, stationery, decorative home and garden accessories, personal care, handcrafted products, jewelry and fashion accessories, tabletop, textiles, furniture, rugs and other related industries.

Gold & Company’s president Debra Gold is a 28-year marketing and public relations veteran. Widely known for her expertise in the areas of merchandise and demographic trends in the gift, stationery and home and garden decor industries, Ms. Gold served as a national contributing editor for Giftware News, a leading trade publication, having written over 100 feature articles on business and product directions. In addition, Ms. Gold has served as a strategic marketing and media consultant and buyer education program director for many of the industry’s leading trade shows, including the California Gift Show, The L.A. Mart, The National Stationery Show, Americasmart, and the California Market Center (CMC).

Ms. Gold has also been extensively quoted on industry trends in publications including Gifts & Decorative Accessories, The Los Angeles Times, Gift Shop, Smart Retailer, Accessory Merchandising, Martha Stewart Weddings, Bride’s magazine, InStyle, Greetings Etc., Museums & More, Giftware News and The New York Times.

Ms. Gold serves as a frequent guest lecturer at the University of California Los Angeles in the area of entrepreneurial public relations; she also serves on the Board of Directors for Gift for Life, the gift/home industries leading charitable organization raising funds for DIFFA, Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. Ms. Gold’s accomplishments have been noted in the Biltmore and Covington’s versions of Who’s Who in Entrepreneurial Women’s Business Leaders.
